The Ghost Gorge
in Mittenwald

The Leutascher Geisterklamm - an experience trail of a special kind in the realm of the legendary gorge spirit.

Spectacularly situated on the rocky cliffs at dizzying heights, the Ghost Gorge winds its way. Follow the traces of goblins, spirits, and dwarves with the whole family.

You can experience the realm of the gorge spirit along two circular routes:

Gorge Spirit Trail, 3000 meters in length

The Gorge Spirit Trail ascends into the gorge from the parking lot after 600 meters and runs along a daring 800-meter-metal staircase to the panoramic bridge. A forest path leads you back to the parking lot. At the stops, the gorge spirit tells us all sorts of mysterious tales from his realm.

Goblin Path, 1900 meters in length

The Goblin Path starts from the gorge kiosk in Mittenwald, passes through the glacially carved rocks into the Leutasch Gorge, and then meets the Gorge Spirit Trail at the panoramic bridge. The return path descends through the northern gorge slopes back to the starting point. Along this path, the goblins tell us about the glaciers and rocks associated with the Leutasch Gorge.
